The politics in Andhra Pradesh are currently revolving around alliances and poll pacts. While TDP and Jana Sena have already formed a tie-up, the parties are looking forward to the addition of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah-led BJP.
None other than Pawan Kalyan has openly stated that he is hoping to see the BJP join their alliance to unify the Opposition and to cohesively work for the defeat of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP.
According to the current political happenings, BJP keep on delaying the decision on alliance with TDP-Janasena. If BJP decides not to join the alliance, some political situations in AP take a Hit.
Now, this move of BJP will eventually impact the candidates who are interested to contest from it along with TDP and Jana Sena alliance. Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishna Raju has been raising a strong dissent against YS Jagan and his party. He has been playing opposition role in the state since long time. He wanted to contest from BJP for Narsapuram Lok Sabha with the support of TDP and Jana Sena. However, if BJP changes its plan, Raju has chance to get ticket from Janasena, as part of TDP-Janasena alliance seat sharing. On the other hand, CM Jagan took RRR’s Lok Sabha contest prestigiously and vowed to defeat him in the polls. So, Jagan will do everything possible to defeat Raghurama Raju.
In the latest statement by BJP leader Sujana Chowdary shown intrest to contest as MP from Vijayawada constituency. What if BJP not alliance with TDP – Janasena? Will he back to join TDP? Or contest alone on BJP ticket?
While YSRCP is finalising its in-charges and probable candidates for Assembly and Lok Sabha, TDP and Jana Sena are in wait and watch mode. They want to take advantage of any last-minute additions to party contestants.
