Two days back, YS Sharmila shocked the YCP ecosystem by referring to her brother, and the CM of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan as “Jagan Reddy” like the way his hardcore opponents Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan usually do. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy stated that it pains to see Sharmila use such language against her brother. YV Subba Reddy, the uncle of Sharmila also faulted her for speaking in such a manner against Jagan.
This topic was brought in front of Sharmila today as she started her North Andhra tour as Andhra Pradesh Congress president today. Sharmila reacted in an entrancing manner to the comment from Subba Reddy.
“Okay YV Subba Reddy garu, if it hurts you to see me call him ‘Jagan Reddy garu’ then I will call him ‘Jagan Anna Garu’ from now on. I have no problem with calling him that. But I have a demand in return. Please show me and the people of AP whatever development that you claim to have done in the state.”
In just her first week of AP political journey, Sharmila has started to make it to the news headlines with her direct attack on YS Jagan. Her no-nonsense approach against taking on Jagan government directly from the front is bemusing YS followers and at the same time, it is leaving YCP in a spot of bother.
