As expected, the war of words between the ruling party Congress and the opposition BRS in Telangana is picking pace. After Revanth Reddy criticized ex-CM KCR, his son Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) took a jibe at Revanth Reddy that his appointment of Chief Minister became a reality through ‘management quota.’
KTR made these comments while addressing party workers in Sircilla on Sunday. During his speech, KTR addressed the speculations about some of the BRS leaders leaving the party.
“Many people will come and go. If luck favors, earthworms will behave like poisonous snakes. It is no open secret that the people elected Revanth Reddy as the chief minister. He got the position in management quota. He bribed Manickam Tagore with 50 Cr rupees and managed all others in Delhi to get appointed as Chief Minister,” criticized KTR.
Both BRS and Congress parties are currently working towards strengthening their parties for the upcoming Loksabha elections.
