Yesterday, Sakshi Media ran a program with YSRTP leaders from Telangana, and they were seen complaining about Sharmila for leaving them abruptly and unilaterally merging YSRTP in Congress. This has fallen in the eye of Sharmila and she has feistily reacted to this program from Sakshi.
Sharmila remarked that before anything it should be remembered that she co-owns Sakshi and has an equal share as that of Jagan Mohan Reddy. She faulted Sakshi for running a targeted program against her, despite her co-owning the media outlet.
“Many YSRTP leaders called me and said Sakshi is contacting them and promising coverage if they speak badly about me. They were worried about Sakshi’s campaign against me. Foremost, I own as much part of Sakshi as Jagan Reddy. YSR kept it that way as he wanted both of us to have an equal share in Sakshi.” Sharmila stated publicly and this is being seen as a warning to Sakshi management about airing campaigns against her by reminding that she co-owns the company.
Sharmila remarked that Jagan has changed drastically as he has forgotten the support she gave to YCP in 2019. The AP Congress chief says she is hurt by YCP’s personal attack on her.
