BRS veteran Malla Reddy is one of the most entertaining leaders in Telangana politics and he has a peculiar and iconic personality but sadly the show is coming to an end in the next five years.
Malla Reddy attended a public meeting today and he turned a tad emotional as he announced that he is leaving politics soon.
“My time has come. I’m 71 years old now and am ageing. I can’t be around for too long. This is my last election and I will move away from politics once these five years are over. I am leaving politics after this term is done and I will make the most of it by serving the people of Telangana to the best of my capabilities,” Malla Reddy said.
The veteran leader stated that the people of his constituency will be getting the very best of his administration in the coming months as he is nearing his retirement.
Malla Reddy has been serving as one of the most popular faces in Telangana politics and he has been active for a decade now after winning Malkajgiri MP seat on TDP ticket in 2014. He shifted to BRS in 2016 and quickly emerged as a vocal leader for the party. His political stint is coming to an end in 2028, going by his statement today.
