‘Malli Vastham, Budget Pedatham’ – Jagan Says In Assembly

Published by

Andhra Pradesh’s budget sessions started today CM Jagan delivered the final budget-related speech in his 5-year tenure as the CM. He spoke about the good work of the YCP government in the last 5 years and questioned what is the need for all the opposition parties to unite against the YSR Congress.

Jagan was confident while delivering the speech today and mentioned that the YCP government will come to power in 2024 again.

“We are presenting an interim budget now according to the regulations. But not to worry, YSRCP will come to power in a solid manner again in 2024 and we will present the full-fledged budget in the next budget session.” Jagan said. His exact words were “Malli vastham, budget pedatham.” His confident comment on retaining power has impressed YCP group.

About the excessive loan-taking practice of the YCP government, Jagan argued that the annual growth in loan-taking rate was 21% in the Chandra Babu regime but in his regime, the rate came down to 12%.

Interestingly, Jagan was seated right beside Gadikonda Srikanth Reddy who is reportedly not retaining Rayachoti MLA ticket and is allegedly dissatisfied with the party high command. This is one of the interesting sights in the assembly today.
