Jagan Ads in Telangana Theaters! Any Use?

Published by

After KCR lost the power in Telangana, it sounded danger bells for incumbent AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. YS Jagan is taking proactive measures and going all out in catching the public attention. Jagan is also changing as many as sitting MLAs to overcome the anti-incumbency. This level of change of sitting MLAs is the first of its kind experiment in the country. Whether these will yield any fruitful results or not needs to be seen.

Jagan sounded the poll bugle by convening Siddham meetings in Bheemili and Denduluru and three more Siddham meetings are going to be held soon. What is ironic is that AP government ads are screened in the Telangana cinemas. This is raising many eyeballs. Whoever is going to watch a movie in Telangana theatres are witnessing the AP government ads during the interval.

Many are wondering ‘what is the use of AP government ads in Telangana cinemas?’ This is the question on many lips. The idea is to draw the attention of the settler votes. It is undeniable that many AP natives are residing in Hyderabad, Khammam and other parts of Telangana. The settler votes are considerable.

While the majority of the people may not cast their votes, some enthusiastic people travel all the way to their native places to exercise their voting right. This is the category Jagan is trying to woo with these advertisements. Whether the ads would be useful to influence the people and change their opinion or not is a different subject altogether. But YSRCP is going all out in catching attention. Looks like, Jagan is taking cue from the defeat of the BRS government in Telangana.
