TDP and Janasena are jointly preparing for the Andhra Pradesh election campaign with Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan promoting harmony between the party cadres to work on a joint campaign. With the elections approaching in two months, all eyes are on the MLA and MP seat distribution between JSP and TDP. But the alliance harmony is missing when it comes to Nagababu who is willing to contest as Anakapalle MP as political analysts are of the opinion that the TDP cadre has deserted the mega brother.
It started in 2019 when Nagababu used to make YouTube videos sarcastically trolling Balakrishna, Lokesh, and Chandra Babu which anguished the TDP cadre. Even in 2024, after TDP-JSP alliance was announced, Naga Babu shared cryptic tweets about Newton’s 3rd law of every action having an opposite reaction after Pawan Kalyan announced 2 MLA seats in response to TDP announcing two seats. With this, Naga Babu intimidated the entire TDP cadre.
The commentary from political analysts is that the TDP cadre has completely moved away from Naga Babu. If so, then how far can Nagababu go with his political campaign in the Anakapalle MP elections? If it was an internal matter, then TDP cadre might have let it go, but Naga Babu publicly tried to humiliate TDP on many occasions, so it should be tough for the cadre to forget all this and support Nagababu.
When Nagababu contested from Narsapuram Lok Sabha seat in 2019, he was restricted to third place. He is reportedly interested in the Anakapalle MP seat this term and if he does actually contest, will it be possible for him to win on his own without support from TDP cadre, which he himself deserted with his hostile approach?
