APCC president Y.S. Sharmila said that the BJP is involved in a triangle love story in the state. The leaders of both the ruling and opposition parties touch the feet of the BJP bosses, expecting an alliance with the party.
The BJP has neither an MLA nor MP in Andhra Pradesh but the state is under its control. It is significant to note that both TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu and YCP honcho Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy flew to Delhi and held meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah back-to-back, ahead of the elections, with an eye to benefit from an alliance with the national party. The BJP leaders entertain both the ruling and opposition leaders of Andhra Pradesh, she pointed out.
For five years, the people of AP had given chance to Naidu and for the next five years, they opted for Jagan, but neither of them had succeeded in getting special status to the state. Both of them failed in completing the Polavaram project and also construction of the capital city, she pointed out.
As all the three parties failed to do any good to the public in AP, she said it was time the people take a wise decision and vote for the Congress in the forthcoming elections.
