The assembly sessions in Telangana are happening on a fierce note with Congress and BRS engaging in a very tense argument over KCR’s disproportionate handling of water distribution between AP and Telangana. CM Revanth Reddy took the opportunity to target KCR who is yet to attend the assembly.
Revanth Reddy remarked that the “Mahanubhavudu” opposition leader is insulting the people of Telangana state with his reluctance to attend the assembly. He commented, “When the ruling and opposition parties are debating on a key topic like Krishna waters distribution, our Mahanubhavudu opposition leader(KCR) doesn’t have the intention to come to the assembly and make his voice heard.”
Earlier, KCR was supposed to take part in the Telangana assembly sessions from the day of the budget presentation. But the BRS head still hasn’t stepped in the assembly after losing power. In the meantime, Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders are repeatedly challenging the ex-CMR to step into the assembly so that they can get out the hard facts about the water and irrigation scams from KCR’s mouth itself. The keenly awaited face off between Revanth and KCR in the assembly is taking so much longer than expected due to KCR’s absence.
