Janasenani With Pemmasani; What’s Ths Story?

Published by

Telugu Desam Party and Janasena are jointly working on what can be considered a quintessentially important election campaign. Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are leading the charge by holding election-centric meetings and instructing their cadre about the way forward as they come up against Jagan’s YCP.

In a crucial meeting that happened yesterday, Janasenani Pawan Kalyan cordially met Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, an NRI who is likely to contest the Guntur Lok Sabha segment on the TDP ticket. The meeting went on for an hour and several key topics regarding the contemporary political scene in Guntur, and also all of Andhra Pradesh reportedly came up.

Pemmasani then communicated to the media that he had a fruitful discussion with Pawan Kalyan and said the two of them share a similar sense of social responsibility and philanthropic mentality. The main motive of the meeting is to ensure that TDP and JSP are on the same page and create a stramlined plan for TDP-JSP’s joint campaign in Guntur.

Telugu Desam is looking to replace the well-educated and financially sound Galla Jaydev with another gentlemanly and deep-pocketed individual, Pemmasani as the party candidate for Guntur. He is nearly finalized as TDP candidate from Guntur and in this context, he had an hour-long meeting with Pawan Kalyan, which has led to discussions in political circles.

Pemmasani is seen as a young and well-versed leader and he has been with TDP for over a decade. He first hoped to get the Narasaraopeta MP ticket but TDP fixated on giving this ticket to YCP’s defiant candidate Lavu Krishna Deva Rayulu, another young leader.

The young leader was born in Burripalem and later moved to Guntur. He did his Master’s in the USA and then went on to serve as faculty at John Hopkins University. He is back in India now and is set to contest Guntur MP seat on TDP ticket.
