In terms of social inclusiveness and governance, Andhra Pradesh ranks 3rd in all of India while Telangana is ranked 14th. In terms of governance(2023), AP ranks 3rd while Telangana is ranked 14th. AP was ranked number 1 for the years 2020 and 2021 but slipped to 4th in 2022, before picking up marginally and reaching 3rd place in 2023.
AP has been termed as a “Star performer” by the Skoch Survey, while Telangana is in the “catching up” bracket.
But in terms of Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR), Telangana is ranked number 1. As per SKOCH Social Sector Expenditure Report, which used 12 different indicators, between 2014-23, Telangana is #1 in terms of CAGR of 19.23% in social sector expenditure. Andhra Prades is much lower in his aspect with 11.83%/
