One of the trending terms in the recent months is “Aa Kurchi ni madatha petti” after a rural Telangana elderly man came up with it. It was later followed by a song with the same name in Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, which brought a wider reach.
But literally no one expected this viral term to come out from the mouth of Telugu Desam boss Chandrababu Naidu, who is always calculated and cautious about his speeches.
At a book launch event yesterday, Naidu threw a surprise to everyone as he used the viral “Kurchi Ni Madatha Petti” term in political context. This was a reaction to YS Jagan’s recent call up to YCP cadre saying it’s time for them to roll up their sleeves and jump into the election campaign.
“Jagan, if you and your YCP cadre are ready to roll up your sleeves, TDP, Janasena cadre and the general public are ready to fold the chairs. Once that happens, you won’t have a chair to sit on” Naidu said. His exact words were “Jagan, Nuvvu nee party chokkalu madatha pedithe, maa Telugu Desam, Janasena cadre and prajalu Kurchilu madatha pedatharu. Memu Kurchilu madatha pedithe neeku Kurchi undadu.”
This statement coming from Naidu is unexpected but one can see the effort put in by the senior politician to grab the attention of the younger generation by mixing viral terminologies with political happenings. This statement from Chandrababu is trending on social platforms since yesterday.
