BRS party is in a defensive position in Telangana after a considerable exodus in the party with several of its leaders looking to join Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Caught in the defense mechanism, BRS is coming out firing against CM Revanth Reddy.
BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has commented that CM Revanth will be sent to jail in under six months. He predicted that Revanth would land in jail in under six months with the impending vote-for-note case.
“I am hearing from many outlets that Revanth Reddy is in deep trouble with the vote-for-note case, and he could be landing in jail in 3-4 months, or at max, in under 6 months. The case has reached the verdict stage and there are strong proofs linking Revanth. My firm belief is that he will be Congress’s Eknath Shinde, so I warn my fellow legislators in Congress to beware of the situation and look for individual alternative plans by the time Revanth goes to jail” Kaushik Reddy said.
In response to this, Congress supporters are saying that BRS has no problem with AP CM Jagan who has CBI cases and KCR himself meets with the AP CM, but when it comes to Revanth, BRS feels the Congress chief will land in jail over the note-for vote case. This verbal confrontation will further intensify as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching.
