Sofa On Tractor: Rahul Shuts Reporter With Perfect Reply

Published by

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is in headlines for the last few days, be it his attempt to visit Hathras along with Priyanka Gandhi, or the scuffle they faced during the lathi-charge and effects thereafter. Once again, the Congress leader is back on news but this time for the answer he gave to the reporter on a silly aspect and completely shut him down for it.

Rahul Gandhi visited UP and the local leaders arranged a sofa seat on the tractor after they learned he is going to get on it during the tour. Well, the detractors and haters started trolling him for cushion seats while he was on his way to visit and console the poor farmers. This has escalated when a reporter asked him about the same.

Rahul Gandhi gave it back with a hard-hitting answer as if he was already expecting the question. Rahul asked the reporter why the media is so much interested in two cushion seats on a tractor but won’t question PM Narendra Modi about the extremely luxurious features on the new flights the latter bought from the USA using the public money of Rs 8400 crore. The reporter could not ask more. Trolls are not new for Rahul Gandhi, but he seems to getting good at putting them down.

The first of two VVIP planes costing Rs 8400 crore arrived in India and they will fly the Prime minister, President, and Vice president for their travels. These are custom made B777 with state of the art missile defense systems called Large Aircraft Infrared countermeasures and Self-protection suites. These flights arrived in Delhi from the US last Thursday.

These aircraft were part of Air India’s commercial fleet in 2018, but later they were sent back to Boeing to makeover them for VVIP travel.
