There is an internal talk in AP political circles that YSRCP MP Margani Bharath has no shortage of comments and statements that get trolled on social media.
He has given fodder to trolls with his latest statement on converting Rajahmundry and Kakinada into twin cities. At the media addressal last evening, Bharath said he plans to develop Rajahmundry and Kakinada into twin cities. When a journalist pointed out that the distance between the two cities is substantial, the MP said he planned a road route through Anaparti to shorten the distance.
AP BJP spokesperson Yarlagadda Ramkumar has taken note of this comment from Bharat and trolled him on the matter.
“The central government is planning road connectivity between Rajahmundry airport and Kakinada seaport to enhance the commercial transportation. The plan is to widen the road from Rajanagaram to Samrlakota through the center’s funds. The funds were released to the state government in 2019 but you people didn’t disburse them to contractors and stalled the process. To go from Kakinada to Rajahmundry, people are going via Jaggampeta which has high traffic. But being an MP, you don’t know this. But how long will you be here? Only a month. We have to bear you till then.” the BJP spokesperson trolled the sitting MP.
