The Telugu Desam Professional’s Wing launched membership drive and voter enrollment programme at the party office in Guntur on Sunday.
The TDP leaders called upon the first-timers to get themselves enrolled as voters and exercise their franchise for the first time in the upcoming elections.
The TDP launched the programme ‘My First Vote is For CBN’ to help the youth understand the importance of development and also create awareness on how development can propel the state to prominence.
“People had already evinced growth and prosperity of the state from 2014 to 2019 under the leadership of TDP boss N. Chandrababu Naidu,” the leaders of the Professional Wing said.
They also said that they voluntarily designed the programme to show their gratefulness to Naidu for his efforts to put the state on the path of development.
They urged all the common people and youth too to show their solidarity with the TDP if they believed “Baboste Jabostundi” (Jobs will get created if Babu wins power).
Naidu’s Vision 2020 led to the development of Cyberabad which generated thousands of jobs and provided livelihood to several youths. Indirectly, it also helped in enhancing their standard of living, the Professional Wing members said.
With several IT companies and even MNCs opening shop in Hyderabad, the city turned into an IT Hub providing livelihood to lakhs of youth in the state.
They called upon all the young and first-time voters to know the importance of development of the state and how it can directly affect their life.
