As Telangana gears up for its forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, the opposition party, BRS is struggling to keep ahold of its public representatives. Multiple BRS MPs have left the party and joined Congress and BJP in the last few weeks. The exodus is getting bigger and scarier for BRS as the party has started to lose its MLAs as well.
Yesterday, Bhadrachalam BRS MLA Tellam Venkat Rao met Revanth along with Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. Today, it is Chevella MLA Kale Yadayya who formally met and greeted CM Revanth Reddy. He was accompanied by minister Ponnam Prabhakar. It was communicated to the media that it was just a formal meeting which has become standard procedure these days.
After meeting Revanth yesterday, Tellam Venkat Rao skipped KCR’s meetings with Khammam district BRS leaders, indicating that he is contemplating a move to Congress. Today, it is the case of Yadayya who met the CM and had a brief interaction with him.
While KCR an KTR are continually meeting regional BRS leaders and public representatives in an attempt to resurrect the party before the Lok Sabha polls, these meetings between BRS MLAs and CM Revanth are not stopping. KCR recently said his MLA must intimate him before meeting Revanth but his MLAs are not paying heed to this.
