While the dillydallying continues on BJP joining Telugu Desam and Janasena to form a triangular alliance, the speculations about the possible distribution of seats between the parties are through the roof. One such latest buzz is saying that a Janasena senior is taken aback by the developments in connection with the impending TDP-JSP-BJP alliance.
Janasena senior leader Bolisetty Srinivas has been with the party through thick and thin. He was hopeful of getting his hands on the Tadepalligudem Janasena ticket and it looked nearly confirmed that he would secure the ticket, after having contested from here in 2019. But the new set of changes that are bound to happen if BJP joins the alliance are of the implication that BJP is asking for Tadepalligudem assembly seats for themselves.
It is being heard that the BJP’s demand for Tadepalligudem seat was presented in front of Bolisetty recently and he instantly fumed at this proposition. He reportedly replied that at his age, sacrifices in politics are out of the equation. If the situation demands him to sacrifice the seat to the BJP, he threatened to quit politics. He is apparently gutted that he worked this hard for Janasena all these years and the proposition has come up for him to sacrifice the seat to BJP.
BJP is anyway likely to be given a limited number of seats so the responsibility will be on TDP and Janasena to arrange whatever seats BJP asks for. But if it comes at the cost of Janasena veteran Bolisetty leaving the party, how will Pawan Kalyan react? Only time will answer this question.
