In view of the fast approaching general elections, political parties in various states are busy chalking out strategies and plans to beat the rival candidates. Some of the political parties even hired political consultancies like
I-PAC to guide them through the electioneering. The Congress party is being headed by Sunil Kanugolu and his team.
I-PAC is working for the ruling parties in Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. When observed keenly, the strategies of all these parties – YCP, TMC and DMK, appear similar as they are headed by the same consultancy.
Right from the dais of public meetings, addressing the public to the electioneering songs, I-PAC has adopted the same strategy for all the political parties, of course blending it in right amount with the local flavor.
While Andhra Pradesh will hold both Assembly and general elections, in West Bengal, only general elections will be held.
In Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the star campaigner while in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee is the star campaigner.
Surprisingly, even the assurances by the I-PAC managed political parties leaders are similar. In Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy is confident that his welfare schemes will bring him back to power and Mamata Banerjee is also with the same optimism.
Banerjee had released the list of candidates for all the 42 MP seats in the state, even before the election schedule is released. YCP has also finalized the names of candidates for the MLA and MP seats.
While Jagan’s campaign is named ‘Siddham’, in Bengal, Mamata is addressing public meetings under the name ‘Jana Garjana’.
Even here, the platform of her meetings is in ‘Y’ shape just like in case of Jagan.
