Since yesterday, the focal point of Telangana politics has been the alleged humiliation of Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka. It all started when Bhatti took part in a pooja ceremony at Yadadri temple along with CM Revanth Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy.
In a viral video, Bhatti was seated on a lower chair while the three mentioned leaders sat on a bigger chair while performing the pooja. This gave space to opposition cadres to allege that the SC deputy CM is being humiliated by the Congress government.
Today, Bhatti Vikramarka himself took the responsibility of settling the issue in an amicable and diplomatic manner.
“It is not a big deal. It was my decision to be seated on the specific chair. I find nothing wrong in it. I am not the person who would take humiliation of any sort from anyone. I am in a position of power and am able to administer Telangana through the deputy CM post. Opposition is trying to make a meal of this insignificant incident, I urge everyone not to fall for this narrative.” Bhatti said. The deputy CM defused the situation with his simple reply and said the opposition is spinning a story of their own on an incident that has no hidden intentions.
