Published by

It has been speculated so far that YS Sharmila will be contesting for the Kadapa MP seat from the Congress Party. In the latest twist, the Congress party brought in new plans to make Sharmila contest against YS Jagan in the Pulivendula assembly seat.

Congress party is having internal meetings about the contesting candidates’ list and APCC chief YS Sharmila is heard to have been suggested to contest for Kadapa MP seat. YS Sharmila along woth other Congress seniors made it clear that any leader in the party should be ready to contest from the constituency decided by the high command and also be ready to sacrifice if high command orders.

Amid this, the Congress senior leaders like Raghu Veera Reddy and Pallam Raju have become active again and they reportedly advised YS Sharmila to get into Pulivendula arena to lock horns with YS Jagan. After today’s APCC meeting, the media questioned YS Sharmila if she is contesting against Jagan.

YS Sharmila did not directly answer the question but emphasized the statement, ‘If high command orders, anyone in the party should be ready to contest from anywhere and I am not an exception to it, not Raghuveera Reddy uncle, or Pallam Raju garu’.

Though YS Sharmila did not directly make a statement that she is contesting against Jagan, it is strongly believed that she is contesting against Jagan in the Pulivendula assembly seat.

Meanwhile, a person from YS Viveka’s family, either his daughter or wife is heard to be contesting from Congress in Pulivendula. But the Congress cadre opines that it would be better is Sharmila gets into the race.
