K Kavitha is facing the Enforcement Directorate’s investigation in the Delhi liquor policy case after she was arrested by the ED sleuths a week back. Her earlier remand sentence expired today but not to much avail for Kavitha as the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court extended her remand further.
The court extended Kavitha’s custody to the ED by a further 3 more days and she will have to abide by this new order now. She will be under ED’s custody till 26 March.
While Kavitha was being brought out of the court after the remand extension, she was calm but she protested the arrest and called it a political and fabricated case.
‘They have asked the same thing that they asked one year back. It’s an illegal arrest. It is a political and fabricated case.’ Kavitha said as she faulted the NDA government for using central investigative forces against her.
