Earlier, Mahasena Rajesh was announced as the TDP candidate from P. Gannavaram constituency but he opted out, citing the communal verbal attack from YSR Congress leaders.
One thing led to another, and this TDP seat eventually landed in Janasena’s basket as Pawan Kalyan officially announced his party’s candidate from P. Gannavaram.
Pawan announced that Giddi Satyanarayana will be JSP’s candidate from this constituency. Satyanarayana will replace Mahasena Rajesh as the alliance’s candidate from P. Gannavaram. Reportedly, this decision was taken after an IVRS survey concluded that Giddi has the best chance of winning this constituency.
The JSP had another announcement to make as he confirmed Chirri Balaraju as his party’s candidate from the Polavaram assembly constituency.
