AP Film Development Corporation chairman and YCP leader Posani Krishna Murali alleged that Loksatta Party founder Jayaprakash Narayan was playing caste politics in the garb of an intellectual.
Jayaprakash Narayan said that he would support the TDP-BJP-JSP alliance because its agenda also gives importance to development along with welfare. The YCP leader responded to the above comments.
Krishna Murali said that TDP founder N. Chandraabu Naidu damaged the entire state when given power for five years. “JP knows this fact but he is not able to accept it due to his caste affiliation with Naidu. JP also belongs to Naidu’s community,” Murali said.
This unusual praises on Naidu are a ploy by the TDP chief only to mislead the people, the YCP leader said.
Naidu had looted whatever he could during his five-year rule. If given power for a next time, he would completely destroy the state. It is unfair on the part of JP to make such comments when the state was flourishing on all fronts. Such statements are misleading, he said.
He faulted JP for calling Naidu a visionary. During Naidu’s rule in 2014-2019, he made 600 promises but did not fulfill at least one during the five years. “How can you call a leader visionary who once criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi but is now showering heaps of praises on the same Modi?”
Further, Krishna Murali also reminded that Naidu was termed a ‘backstabber’ by none other than his own father-in-law. Is backstabber a visionary, Posani asked and urged JP not to elevate Naidu just because they belong to the same caste.
He called upon the electorate not to vote for the TDP in the upcoming Assembly elections.
