KTR has made sensational comments on the controversial phone tapping. Responding to the burning topic, KTR said the Revanth Reddy government is creating an unwanted ruckus. Admitting that phone tapping might have been done during their government, KTR said that the phones of one or two might have been tapped by the police. He reasoned that police tap phone calls of thieves.
KTR dared the Congress government to continue the investigation. He said they can’t do anything beyond doing drama and hungama. Commenting on CM Revanth Reddy, KTR described him as the “Leakula Veerudu” (Leeking Star).
With KTR admitting to the phone tapping of one or two people, this gave a big boost to the allegations of Congress leaders. It needs to be seen where the whole episode will end. Former Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) chief and retired IPS officer Prabhakar Rao, suspended DSP Pranith Rao and few other police officials were suspected to be the key people in the phone tapping during previous BRS government.
