In the last few weeks, we have been seeing several opinion polls and electoral surveys on the polling trends of Andhra Pradesh. A few say the TDP+ alliance is a formidable force in AP, a few say Jagan’s YSR Congress will retain power. Today, a new agency has dropped its survey report on AP polls.
This new survey is done by India TV-CNX media agency and here is a transcript of the data that their survey compiled.
According to the India TV-CNX survey, the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance is gripping Andhra Pradesh and the wave is clearly in their favor. The findings of the survey are that TDP will win 12 MP seats in the election while BJP will get 3 seats. The significant deal here is BJP which got 0 seats in 2019 when it contested alone, is now projected to win 3 seats after joining forces with TDP and JSP.
The ruling party YSR Congress is projected to win just 10 MP seats in the election which is a significant drop from the 2019 polls when the party won 22 MP seats. Losing over 50% of the MP seats could be a fatal blow to the Jagan party.
According to this survey, a similar trend could be seen in the assembly elections as well, and if that happens, then the TDP+ alliance could be surging to power. What can be concluded from this survey report is that there is a strong anti-incumbency wave in Andhra Pradesh.
