Nara Lokesh is working round the clock to ensure that he reaches the target of winning from Mangalagiri by a margin of 50,000 votes in the assembly elections. He is keeping himself busy every day by interacting with the local cadres and going on electoral campaigning to keep himself fresh in the public’s memory.
But for a change, Lokesh is set to go to Tamil Nadu and this isn’t for TDP’s cause either, and instead, it is for BJP’s cause. He is set to campaign for BJP Tamil Nadu president K Annamalai in the Coimbatore parliamentary segment. It appears that Lokesh is maintaining good ties with the BJP top brass and also BJP Tamil Nadu president Annamalai and his decision to campaign for the latter instates the point.
Considering that TDP is a part of the alliance, BJP seems to have decided to utilize Lokesh’s services in Coimbatore. More importantly, it is essential for Lokesh, the scion of TDP, to maintain a good rapport with other state leaders and he is taking a big step on this matter by coming out to campaign for Annamalai who is one of the most popular faces in Tamil Nadu political space of late. The coming together of these two young politicians should be interesting to see.
Much like the Tamil settlers in parts of Andhra Pradesh, certain parts of Tamil Nadu are also densely populated by the Telugu community. So Lokesh’s campaign could be beneficial for BJP in Coimbatore and hence the move from BJP to invite the TDP young-gun.
