Roughly at the same time five years ago, Sharmila was campaigning and touring all across Andhra Pradesh, pleading with the voters to elect her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. But cut to 2024, the situation has completely changed as Sharmila is standing at Kadapa crossroads and asking the voters not to elect Jagan, who is pampering murderers. This time, she has her sister YS Sunitha in company.
Sharmila and Sunitha have started the whirlwind tour in Kadapa and they are terming Jagan as a wicked politician who is nurturing murderers and encouraging murder politics in Andhra Pradesh.
Sharmila said she is having to fight against Jagan and Avinash to avenge the murder of Vivekananda Reddy. Sunitha asked the Kadapa voters just to think about who murdered her father and asked if it is right to encourage murderers by giving them power again in the election. The relentless attack from the YS sisters against YS Jagan has led to many discussions in Kadapa.
The YS family has been ruling the roost in Kadapa, but never in history was there such a big split in the YS family with two groups from this very family pitted against each other.
Standing at the heart of Kadapa, Sharmila and Sunitha are calling Avinash a murderer and criticizing Jagan for nurturing him. With so much happening, Jagan simply can’t ignore this attack from his sisters as too much silence from him and his camp could send a signal to the public that they are indirectly accepting the allegations made by the YS sisters.
With so much at stake, we have to see what will be the central point of Jagan’s speech once he sets foot in Kadapa for his campaign. The Kadapa people have heard what Sharmila and Sunitha had to say and Jagan himself owes an explanation to the Kadapa public. Will he counter his sisters in Kadapa? If yes, then what counter-argument will he make against them?
