BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was on his way to join the BJP to get purged of the accusations against him in connection with the note-for-vote scam.
KTR also tried to explain how Revanth Reddy was preparing the ground to switch loyalty by tactfully fielding dummy candidates in various constituencies in Telangana for the upcoming general elections.
Congress’ Secunderabad MP candidate Danam Nagender is not stepping out of his house for campaigning even as the general elections are approaching fast. Here, Union Minister Kishan Reddy is his BJP rival. Similarly, Revanth had not yet announced the party candidate for the Karimnagar MP constituency as he wants to do good to BJP senior leader Bandi Sanjay.
He also mentioned of the G. Ranjith Reddy’s candidature from Chevella constituency and Patnam Mahender Reddy wife’s candidature from Malkajgiri. All these politicians are dummy candidates fielded by Revanth Reddy to benefit their rival candidates of the BJP.
KTR also alleged about a secret pact between Kishan Reddy and Revanth Reddy. Even in Nizamabad and Adilabad, a keen observation of the MP candidates would reveal that Revanth Reddy is following a similar strategy there too, he said.
The BRS leader reminded that the Congress demanded a CBI inquiry against Revanth Reddy soon as the scam came to light as he was associated with the TDP at that time. Even now, the Congress can demand for a CBI probe into the incident but it will not do it for obvious reasons, he said.
KTR also supported his argument over the need for Revanth Reddy to switch loyalty to the BJP as it would work like a washing machine clearing politicians of blemishes on them due to involvement in multi-crore scams.
As many as 23 politicians have already been cleansed by the BJP washing machine. Earlier, there were allegations against Ajit Pawar of involvement in Rs 70,000-crore irrigation scams and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis even sarcastically remarked that soon Pawar would keep ‘chakki peesna’ in the jail. But now, Pawar is the blue-eyed politician sitting in the lap of the BJP. That is the power of BJP, KTR said.
