Madhavi Latha’s ‘Arrow’ Hurts Muslim Sentiments!

BJP’s MP candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha has never been short of media glare right from the day she was announced by the saffron party. This time, she has taken her media attention-grabbing game to a new level with her provocative gesture in front of a masjid in the Old City area of Hyderabad.

In a viral video on social media, Madhavi is seen making an arrow-hurling gesture towards a masjid in the Old City area. This incident happened on the occasion of Ram Navami and it has hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community.

Making the most of the situation, MIM’s sitting MP from Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi said BJP and RSS are trying to destroy peace and harmony in Hyderabad through such incidents.

After a huge uproar from the Muslim community, Madhavi Latha commented “I would like to clarify that it’s an incomplete video that is taken out of context, and even in such a case, if anyone’s sentiments are hurt then I would like to apologize to everyone.”

The Election Commission said the incident wasn’t brought to their notice thus far, but affirmed that adequate action would be taken soon.
