YSR Congress defiant MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has moved to Telugu Desam Party and he has now sealed the assembly constituency that he will be contesting from. After having lost Narsapuram ticket to BJP’s Srinivas Varma, Raghu Rama has moved to Undi constituency.
Telugu Desam Party supremo Chandrababu Naidu announced that the party is changing 4 MLA candidates and one of them is Undi TDP candidate Mantena Rama Raju.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has been announced as the MLA candidate from Undi assembly constituency, putting an end to the long wait on his candidacy.
The rebel leader will be filing his nomination from Undi constituency on the 22nd of this month, as he announced much in advance.
Mantegna Rama Raju fought hard to seal the Undi seat for himself but considering the relentless fight put up by Raghu Rama over the last five years against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, he has been allocated the ticket, deservedly.
Telugu Desam has been winning Undi constituency since 2009 and RRR’s win here is being seen as a mere formality. His followers are pushing to see him as AP assembly speaker of the house if the TDP+ alliance is voted to power.
