Narsapuram MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has been a very tough pill to swallow for the YSR Congress outfit over the last 5 years. But the misery came to an end recently after RRR decided it was time to leave YSR Congress and join the Telugu Desam Party.
But there is one complication here as RRR couldn’t bag the desired Narsapuram MP ticket as there were other political permutations linked with this and it even had the influence of YCP boss YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
As a part of the alliance seat distribution, the Narsapuram was categorically assigned to BJP, with the hidden intention of RRR joining BJP and later securing this ticket.
But out of nowhere, BJP kept TDP at the crossroads and assigned this assured Narsapuram ticket to Srinivas Varma. The decision to sideline a financially sound sitting MP like RRR over a yet-to-be-proven Srinivas Varma was hard to comprehend.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju commented that Jagan used his ties with Somu Veerraju and local BJP connections to make sure that he doesn’t get the Narsapuram MP ticket.
YCP boss and CM Jagan working so hard to make sure RRR doesn’t get the Narsapuram ticket led to analysts commenting that this signifies the growth of RRR. But at the same time, Jagan got moral win of getting BJP to stop RRR from getting the Narsapuram MP ticket.
But this a very momentary gain for Jagan as RRR has indeed secured the Undi assembly ticket and a win here would prove the ultimate win for RRR. This will be the real deal here.
Needless to say, RRR’s fans are also happy that he has the chance to enter the AP assembly by winning the MLA elections. They aim to see RRR come face to face with Jagan, a man that he intensely fought against for the last 5 years.
There’s also a demand from RRR must be made the speaker of the assembly if TDP+ comes to power as it would be gutting for Jagan to see RRR as the speaker of the house.
