The electoral heat is visible in Telugu states during the hot summer. All the political parties are busy cooking up their strategies to claim power. Meanwhile, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who is contesting for the Hyderabad constituency in Telangana, opened up on his thoughts regarding the AP elections.
Surprisingly, Owaisi extended his support for the YSR Congress Party led by Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. Owaisi urged the voters in Andhra Pradesh to support YSRCP, praising CM Jaganmohan Reddy as a secular leader committed to protecting the rights of SC, ST, BC, and minority communities.
At a press conference in Hyderabad, Owaisi voiced support for Jagan and criticized the opposition leader, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Owaisi labeled CBN as an opportunist and a leader lacking credibility. He expressed concerns that if the BJP-led NDA came to power in Andhra Pradesh, it would mark the end of reservations for Muslims.
It is interesting that both BRS and AIMIM are with YSRCP and we have to see which party will claim the power in the coming elections.
On the other hand, BJP candidate Madhavi Lata is contesting against Owaisi and it is going to be an interesting fight to witness.
