Incumbent CM YS Jagan, who is set to face one of the toughest election battles next week, is facing Sister’s Stroke.
On one side sister YS Sharmila unleashed an all-round attack on Jagan and his wife Bharati. On the other side, cousin YS Sunitha is attacking Jagan & Co for allegedly shielding the murderers of her father YS Vivekananda Reddy.
Already, Sharmila and her comments are doing a great damage to Jagan politically. While she is denting Jagan’s YSR legacy in his bastion (Kadapa), Sunitha’s statements with logic are leaving YSRCP leaders and workers off-guard.
Sharmila was quite outspoken about the Jagan government’s misdeeds. Sharmila’s interview with ABN RK (Open Heart) has indeed damaged Jagan and his image ahead of the elections.
Now, YS Sunitha and her husband Rajasekhar Reddy took part in ABN’s Big Debate. Just a week before AP goes to polling, the direct relatives of CM Jagan going all against him are expected to do a huge damage.
Already, the ruling government is facing a lot of anti-incumbency in the state. This is why CM Jagan is forced to change several MLAs. In this backdrop, the own YS family members taking on him publicly may incur further damage.
YSRCP’s sympathisers are also not welcoming this gap between Jagan and Sharmila. The family and YCP supporters are sharply divided between Jagan and sisters.
All these are expected to work against Jagan and his party in the fast-approaching elections. All eyes are on the May 13 that is expected to script new chapter and history in AP politics and going to decide the fate of the state.
