CBI Court Maintains Suspense On Jagan’s London Trip

Given the nature of the disproportionate assets cases filed against Jagan, he must obtain the CBI court’s permission whenever he wishes to travel abroad. In accordance, he applied for permission at the CBI court last morning to travel abroad after the polling in Andhra Pradesh.

The case came to a hearing today May 9th and the court heard the arguments of Jagan’s lawyers and also CBI’s counsel. However, no judgment was made on this case today.

The CBI court adjourned the verdict on Jagan’s case to leave India on May 14th. So, this means that the suspense continues on Jagan’s foreign tour after the AP polls as he hasn’t received the clearance from the CBI court yet.

Jagan applied for permission to fly abroad on 17 May and return on June 1st. The CBI court’s verdict on the case will be out on May 14, the day after AP polls are done i.e., May 13.
