Andhra Pradesh elections are to commence in less than 24 hours from now as the polling is set to commence earlier in the day tomorrow, May 13. This is being tipped to be the most intense election in the history of Andhra Pradesh and the stakes are adequately high on the same.
In view of the AP polls, the Telangana government has taken adequate measures to facilitate the voters. TSRTC has reportedly arranged 2000 special buses to AP to accommodate AP voters who are returning to their hometowns to cast their votes.
On the other hand, APSRTC is nowhere to be seen when it comes to taking such proactive measures.
Usually, when a ruling party is confident of retaining power, they would proactively arrange transport facilities, and most importantly RTC busses to transport native voters who are working in other states.
But strangely, the YSR Congress government is doing nothing as such to bring in voters from Hyderabad, a city that has a substantial number of AP native voters. This is raising doubts about the confidence of the ruling party and their projections on the mood of the voters.
