Fact Check: Rumor On YCP MLA Is Not True

Published by

Amid the election heat, the intense campaigns from supporters of each political party in AP garnered a lot of attention. Many strange rumors have popped up regarding the voting and elections. One of them is about YCP MLA from Kavali, which is a false one apparently.

The rumor had it that YCP MLA Ramireddy Pratap Reddy mistakenly voted for TDP MP candidate Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy in the EVM and that polling officers also could not revoke it.

Well, upon checking the facts, the rumor emerged baseless and is a false one.

Ramireddy Pratap Kumar Reddy won as MLA of the Kavali Assembly constituency in 2019 with a margin of 14,177 votes against the then-TDP candidate Katamreddy Vishnuvardhan Reddy.
