TDP senior leader Pattabhi hit back at government chief advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy for his anti-Amaravati remarks. With the Amaravati stir completing 300 days, the TDP leaders marked the occasion by addressing the capital region farmers and instilling confidence among them.
Reacting to this, YCP leader and minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the 300-day stir was a ‘success celebration for a flop show’ while AP government chief advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the protest seems to be stage-managed. He also said that it was the TDP leaders who were crying hoarse in the name of stir but not the farmers, as they had given clear majority to the YCP men during the 2019 general elections.
Can’t you see?
Further, Sajjala also said that TDP supremo and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu cheated the farmers and tried to benefit the realtors in the name of capital. He advised that the TDP can seek a CBI probe into the YCP government’s decision to trifurcate the capital, which is aimed at uniform development to all the regions in AP.
In the same breath, Sajjala also criticised TDP national general secretary and former minister N. Lokesh saying that he blabbers something incoherently.
Taking serious exception to the above remarks, Pattabhi fumed at Sajjala and warned him that the TDP would expose his corruption. He advised Sajjala to keep his tongue in control. The TDP leader claimed that the Amaravati stir was receiving support not just from the capital region but from all the 13 districts in the state and even non-resident Telugus (NRTs) living in 200 cities abroad. He reminded that the Telugus living in foreign countries too took out rallies in America in support of Amaravati, after the farmers completed 200 days of stir.
“How dare you call a stir which is receiving support from various quarters a stage-managed one,” he questioned Sajjala and termed him a ‘blind man’.
Jagan cheated farmers
Pattabhi fumed at Sajjala for his insulting remarks against the Amaravati farmers who have been staging a peaceful protest. “What happened to your leader who held ‘Odarpu yatra’ and consoled all the distressed citizens in the state? Is he not able to understand the grief of the farmers who are protesting just a few feet away from his Tadepalli palace,” he questioned.
The TDP leader said that the YCP had not right to talk about credibility of the stir as the YCP had already cheated the farmers by stepping back from establishing the capital in Amaravati even when the party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy accepted to the location of the capital in that place, when he was the Opposition leader.
Big conspiracy
Taking a broadside against Jagan, Pattabhi likened him to Pablo Escador, a drug lord and narcoterrorist in Colombia, who after being accused in several cases got the Supreme Court in that country attacked to prevent it from delivering verdict against him. Escobar had financed the attack operation which was committed by M-19 in which more than 100 people, including 11 Supreme Court magistrates were killed.
“Now, Jagan too is doing the same by attacking the judiciary and attributing ulterior motives to Supreme Court judge Justice N.V. Ramana. Escobar was drug mafia king and Jagan is money laundering king,” Pattabhi pointed out and added that Jagan was drawing inspiration from Escobar.
People should understand the conspiracy being hatched by the YCP government against the judiciary is just to gain sympathy and alleged that Sajjala had written the script for the whole episode. “Jagan is trying to picturise it as though the judiciary is against him just because all his decisions are facing backlash in the corridors of the court. If the proposals and decisions are against the Constitution and law, will the court verdicts be in favour of him,” Pattabhi questioned.
He suggested that people in the state should be aware of all these things and beware of Jagan and company as they were planning to ruin the state for their vested interests.
