It can’t be denied that Andhra Pradesh politics are always on the top of the charts when it comes to money flow, theatrics, and public anticipation. So naturally, when there is so much at stake, there will be an insane load of tension and anticipation on the AP poll results.
As the AP election results are coming out in under four days, quite literally everyone is tensed about the electoral verdict. First on this list is those who bet heavily on their favorite parties. These bettors are anxious about the verdict now as they invested heavily and if things don’t go as planned on June 4th, many lives could be dragged onto roads.
Then there is a section of second-tier leaders in both YCP and Kutami who took up the responsibility of ensuring their respective candidates’ win in the election. They aggressively ran the campaigns for their party candidates during the election but they are unsure about the result now. If their candidates don’t win, these leaders will lose the trust of their bosses and their image amongst cadre will get depleted.
Lastly, we have funders and financiers who invested in the political campaigns and lent money to contesting candidates at nominal interests. Many of them were carried away with the political heat so they reportedly gave lumpsum money to their candidates with the assumption they would win. Now that the heat has gone down and tension has engulfed the candidates, these investors and loaners are anxious about their money. If their candidate wins, they can expect to make the money back, or else, it is going to be a downhill ride.
Both YSR Congress and Kutami candidates and top leadership are extremely confident about winning the election. But deep down, everyone is extremely anxious and concerned about the electoral verdict. Some clarity will emerge once the exit polls are out later in the evening tomorrow before the big reveal happens on June 4th.
