Partha Das of Chanakyya Political Consultancy has shared his predictions for AP. He predicted that YSRCP has the chance of returning to the power in Andhra Pradesh. He said YSRCP will get a seat share of 110 to 120 MLA seats whereas TDP and alliance would confine to a seat share of 55 to 65 MLA seats.
He said female voters have largely voted for YS Jagan’s YSRCP whereas the majority of male voters voted for TDP and alliance. “YSRCP is trailing by around 4% vote share as compared to the TDP alliance in Male Voters. But among Female voters YSRCP is ahead by 12% Vote share as compared to the TDP alliance,” Partha Das predicted.
He said female voters have voted more than male voters in 144 assembly seats whereas male voters voted more than female voters in 31 assembly seats. Based on this, Partha predicted that YS Jagan-led YCP would win the second term.
However, Chanakyya failed to deliver the correct prediction for AP in the 2019 general elections. In 2023 polls, it predicted victory for the Congress in the Telangana Assembly elections.
