The elections in Andhra Pradesh took a dramatic turn when TDP announced an alliance with both Janasena and BJP. All the three parties contested against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP. Successfully, they campaigned against the existing government and ensured a smooth victory. Now, the poll results are highly satisfying for the three parties.
Meanwhile, in many districts, the alliance is going to clean sweep the election. Many exit polls predicted the victory of TDP and in some districts, there is no elected representative from YSRCP. Such is the opposition for the party and the people have elected Chandra Babu Naidu once again.
So far, the trend looks positive for the alliance. The districts where the alliance will exhibit a clean sweep are: Krishna, Guntur, East Godavari, West Godavari, Nellore, Prakasham, Vijayanagaram and Srikakulam.
YSRCP failed in majority of these districts and it is an unfortunate and unsettling defeat for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is going to tender his resignation shortly.
