Through the most powerful weapon in democracy, ‘Vote’, the people of Andhra Pradesh have given a befitting answer to all those who criticized and called them illiterates all these five years for giving ‘One Chance’ to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in 2019 The shocking numbers of Andhra Pradesh assembly elections that are out today (June 4th) clearly demonstrated that the results will be more violent if the voter is so silent. They have once again proved that every political party is at their mercy and cannot take them granted and still get away with power.
The landslide mandate given to NDA alliance indicate that people of Andhra Pradesh have not just disowned YS Jagan Mohan Reddy but discarded the sheer arrogance and haughtiness displayed by the ruling dispensation in the last five years.
They have not simply defeated a political party but an overbearing and tyrannical government which has been feeding on the people of the state.
By choosing Chandra Babu Naidu unanimously with a resounding mandate, the people of Andhra Pradesh clearly hinted that they looking for a visionary leader who can design a better future for the generations to come instead of those who simply press the button to dole out a flurry of cash transfer schemes.
They also welcomed with an open heart the high-spirited and unwavering fighter Pawan Kalyan who has been fighting against the ruling government.
The people of AP gave a clear message to the entire country that the real power rests with the masses but not with the political parties.
They have sent out a strong warning to every political party that their interests and emotions shouldn’t be taken for granted because people are the supreme power in a democratic country.
By giving a thumping and incredible majority to the main Opposition party, the people of Andhra Pradesh made it explicitly open that any political party which resorts to stifling of public voice, lawlessness, vindictive politics, and injustice, will not be spared and will be buried to death in no time.
The unity displayed by the people of Andhra Pradesh to bring down an imperious dictator and his party is exemplary and needs to be case study for future.
So, All Hail the People of Andhra Pradesh.
