The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has completed the honour of stepping down from the position of power as he quit the CM post.
Jagan sent the resignation letter to the governor a few minutes ago and it will be approved by the governor shortly.
Jagan’s 5-year tenure as the CM of AP comes to an end with this outrageously one-sided election in favor of the TDP alliance. Chandrababu will soon take charge as the CM for the fourth time.
Jagan didn’t follow the tradition of meeting the governor and then submitting the resignation and instead sent a letter to the governor. He followed Telangana’s ex-CM KCR who earlier did the same thing when he lost the 2023 assembly elections.
