The Winning Majorities Of The Top Four

The AP elections surprised and shocked one and all with the unexpected results. The Exit polls are nowhere close to the actual results. While the results of 175 assembly seats are declared today, there are the top four who have everyone’s attention all along.

Former CM YS Jagan, Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh and of course Pawan Kalyan. While the winning of Chandrababu and YS Jagan is inevitable, the results of Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan garnered more attention.

Amid this, their respective winning majorities also became the discussion points. Jagan registered a hat-trick victory in Pulivendula, but his winning majority has seen a decline compared to that of 2019. Jagan won with 90,110 votes majority in 2019, but he had to settle with 61,687 this time which is lesser than his 2014 majority of 75,243 votes.

Chandrababu Naidu also registered a victory in Kuppam and his majority is 47,340 votes which is similar to that in 2019, 47121.

The surprising numbers came from Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh in Pithapuram and Mangalagiri respectively. Pawan Kalyan won for the first time as MLA and he recorded a thumping majority of 70, 279 votes. Lokesh has gone even bigger with a mammoth 91, 447 vote majority in his first win for Assembly.
