The Change Begins In Vizag!

Published by

In no time after securing a resounding victory in the 2024 assembly elections of Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu Desam Party, which formed the government in coalition with the JSP and the BJP, started taking corrective measures against the illegal activities carried out by the previous government. Already some incidents have been reported across the state.

Vishakapatnam, which was projected as the executive capital by the YSRCP in the last four years, saw drastic changes with respect to road diversions and other activities at the behest of the leaders of the last government.

The public of the steel city were irked with many such unnecessary activities carried out by local MLAs and other prominent leaders in the last few years.

Now, Telugu Desam Party leaders immediately swung into action to correct these issues. Earlier today, TDP leader and MLA of Vizag East Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu with the help of municipal authorities cleared road blockages in the VIP road as they were done only to facilitate entrance for the property of the then MP MVV Satyanarayana, a realtor who owns all major real estate projects in and around Vizag.

Due to these blockages, commuters were forced to take a long route of more than 1 km for U turn. This was done during the previous government citing vaastu issues.

Coincidentally, MVV Satyanarayana lost in 2024 elections to Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu from Vizag East constituency with a thumping majority of 70 thousand.Yesterday, a group of people removed the ‘YSR View Point’ board as it was previously known as Abdul Kalam View Point and was changed by Jagan’s government last year.
