Amidst the excitement, a familiar face from the 1990s Telugu films, a happening heroine then, has made a significant impact by winning the Hooghly MP seat in West Bengal.
Rachana Banerjee, a popular actress known for her work in Bengali and Odia films, has made her mark in politics on her debut itself by securing Hooghly MP seat for the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) by winning against BJP’s sitting-MP Lockhet Chatterjee.
