Naidu’s Shocker: CS Asked To Go, Intel Chief Kept Away

The recent poll results in Andhra Pradesh have brought about a significant shift in the state’s political landscape. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), led by Chandrababu Naidu, has emerged victorious, securing 135 out of 175 Assembly seats and 16 out of 28 Lok Sabha seats. Combined with ‘alliance’, TDP+ has 164 MLAs in the assembly. This decisive victory has paved the way for Naidu to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time.

In the aftermath of these results, Naidu has taken bold steps to ensure transparency and accountability in the government. One such move is the removal of Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy, who has been asked to go on leave immediately.

This decision is seen as a significant step towards cleansing the government of any corrupt or partisan elements that may have been influencing the administration. Earlier, CS favoured YS Jagan a lot and did a lot of things that irked the then-opposition Telugudesasm.

Another notable development is the denial of audience to PSR Anjaneyulu, the DGP Intelligence, by Naidu at his residence. Anjaneyulu was known for his relentless pursuit of TDP officials and politicians, and his transfer by the Election Commission before the polls was seen as a move to curb his controversial activities. Naidu’s decision not to meet him reflects his commitment to a fair and impartial administration.

Naidu’s decision to remove Jawahar Reddy and deny the audience to Anjaneyulu is now cheering up the party cadres too. We have to see who will be that final bureaucrat team of Naidu, as the CM is always known for roping the best men out there who would always stand by people.
