Ever since the bifurcation of the state and Chandrababu was elected as the CM back then, the discussions on probable capital regions went big. Amaravati was inaugurated and announced as the state capital of AP, but the change in government changed many things along with ‘Amaravati as capital’.
Well, the veteran leader Chandrababu Naidu is about to be sworn in as the CM of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravti is rising up with real estate picking up at a flashing speed. The real estate prices in Amaravati went up to 40-50,000 rupees per square yard from 10-15,000 per square yard.
Chandrababu’s comeback as CM seems to be promising for the real estate businessman and others who bought lands in the Amaravati region. Chandrababu Naidu is all set to focus on Amaravti towards making it a world-class city.
Chandrababu Naidu earlier planned to invest more than Rs 50,000 crore to build Amaravati as a greenfield capital. In 2016. CBN also announced plans for nine theme cities and 27 townships in Amaravati.
However, upon Chandrababu Naidu winning the election, the plot registrations in Amaravati have seen a strong rise. The total number of plot registrations has reached 43,669 and 21,095 plots are still pending registration.
