Pemmasani As Union Health Minister?

Published by

The Guntur parliamentary segment has historically been with the Telugu Desam Party with the party winning this seat since 2014. But the margin of wins was always tight. However, with the arrival of Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, the game changed completely. He recorded the biggest-ever win for TDP here as he won by 3.4 lakh+ votes majority.

Now that the Guntur segment has been locked and sealed by Pemmasani, the discussion has moved on to whether he would be getting the union health ministry. Considering TDP’s prominence in the center and Naidu’s Kingmaker tag, TDP MPs will be in for a glorious run over the next 5 years and a few of them will even get cabinet ministry.

First in the line could be Pemmasani Chandrasekhar who has an immense body of work in the medical field. Before coming to India and joining TDP, he was a very well-reputed doctor in the USA and brought a handful of reformative changes.

Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, M.D., is the founder and CEO of UWorld. At age 25, he founded USMLEWorld (rebranded as UWorld). What started in a university dorm room has since evolved into a leading force in education that has helped millions of students achieve their educational and career dreams.

With so much credibility backing him up, it should only be apt that Pemmasani gets the union healthcare ministry. He has a predicament for the job and possesses adequate vocal skills to fit in as a union health minister. If Naidu’s lobbying is strong enough, Pemmasani getting this coveted post must not be too big of a deal. What a moment it would be for AP to have one of its own men serving as the union health minister.
